Welcome to the Watertown Solar Challenge!
- Step 1. 150 Watertown households or businesses make qualifying contributions to the New England Wind Fund by June 30, 2008.

Result: All the money goes to support clean energy wind turbine projects in New England.
Step 2. The Mass Tech Collaborative pays for buying and installing a 2kW solar array for an Watertown municipal or school building.
Result: The city saves money on electricity costs, creates fewer greenhouse gases, and helps New England take steps towards energy independence and away from global warming!
Dear Watertown Resident,
If by April 30, 150 Watertown households join the New England Wind Fund with qualifying contributions, Watertown will win a 2 kW solar panel array. The Solar Panel Challenge is funded through the Mass Technology Collaborative's Clean Energy Choice Program.
You can choose between two kinds of qualifying contributions to the New England Wind Fund in order to help meet our solar panel challenge:
(1)Join with a one time contribution--a minimum of $100 is required for your contribution to qualify for the challenge program
(2)Join with regular monthly contributions--a minimum of $5 per month will qualify for the challenge program
