Welcome to the Marlborough Solar Challenge!
If 150 households in Marlborough sign up for one of Mass Energy’s renewable energy programs by April 30th, 2008, Marlborough can earn a free 2 kilowatt solar panel for a public school from the Mass. Technology Collaborative.
If you are enrolled through Marlborough's Community Choice Power Supply Program with ConEdison Solutions, Inc. as your electricity supplier:
Join Mass Energy’s New England Wind Fund. You can make tax-deductible donations to get more wind power on line in New England. To qualify for the Solar Challenge you can make a one time donation of $100, or enroll in our NEW Friends program and make secure automatic monthly payments from a credit or debit card of $5 or more.

(Note: Marlborough will be credited automatically if you list "Marlborough" as your town in the join form)
If you opted out of Marlborough's Community Choice Power Supply Program and have National Grid as your electricity supplier:
Join Mass Energy’s New England GreenStart program. You will be supporting a mix of clean locally generated electricity from solar, wind, and hydro sources. It only costs an additional 2.4 cents per kilowatt hour to have 100% of your electric use offset with clean, renewable energy. The average house hold spends about 10-15 dollars per month, and a portion of that is tax deductible! Joining GreenStart qualifies you for the Marlborough Solar Challenge!
