Welcome to the Milton Solar Challenge

Special News
Due to a generous donation, Sustainable Milton is offering residents who join the Community Solar Challenge by donating to the New England Wind Fund an opportunity to enter a drawing for a 1-week vacation in Kauai, Hawaii. The winner will get a week at a condo that sleeps 6 at The Cliffs at Princeville, time to be arranged with the owner, round trip airfare from Boston for two, and carbon offsets for the flights from Mass Energy. All entries must be received by February 15, 2008 for this special prize.
Milton Solar Challenge Overview
Step 1. 300 Milton households or businesses make qualifying contributions to the New England Wind Fund by April 30, 2008.
Result: All the money goes to support clean energy wind turbine projects in New England.
Step 2. The Mass Technology Collaborative pays for buying and installing a 4 kilowatt solar array for an Milton municipal or school building.
Result: The Town of Milton saves money on electricity costs, creates fewer greenhouse gases, and helps New England take steps towards energy independence and away from global warming!
Dear Neighbors,
If by April 30, 300 Milton households join the New England Wind Fund with qualifying contributions, Milton will win a 4 kilowatt solar panel array. The Community Solar Challenge is funded through the Mass Technology Collaborative's Clean Energy Choice Program.
You can choose between two kinds of qualifying contributions to the New England Wind Fund in order to help meet our solar panel challenge:
(1)Join with a one time contribution: a $100+ contribution qualifies for the challenge program
(2) Join with regular monthly contributions: a $5+ monthly contribution qualifies for the challenge program
Thank You,
Your Neighbors at Sustainable Milton
